Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

1. Service

Accounting Bridge is a cloud-based financial consolidation and reporting tool operated by Wietze Suijker ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. One account per person; accounts are non-transferable. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

3. Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans are billed monthly. Payments are processed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period - no partial refunds. We may change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

4. Free tier and demo

The demo is provided as-is for evaluation purposes. Demo data is shared and may be reset at any time. Authenticated free accounts may have feature limitations.

5. Your data

You retain ownership of all data you upload or create. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. Uploaded files are processed in memory and never stored (see our Privacy page for details). We store only your configuration, aggregated period summaries, and notes.

6. Data processing

By using the service, you authorize us to process your uploaded files for the purpose of generating consolidated financial reports. When AI features are enabled, aggregated (non-row-level) data may be sent to Anthropic's API. No data is shared with any other third party.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible. We are not liable for losses arising from service interruptions.

8. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any financial output before relying on it.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. On termination, your access ceases at the end of the paid billing period. You may export or delete your data before termination. We will delete your data within 30 days of account closure upon request.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms with 30 days notice via email. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Montreal, Quebec.
